Two years ago I called this house in Cedar Heights "the ugliest in the area", and I was right. But, credit where credit is due, the new (first) owners have transformed its appearance with extensive planting, a porch and a new front door.
It is still not very pretty but it is much better than it was and I doubt that it is the ugliest in the area anymore. I will have to go and look for some new contenders.
Interestingly, I find the "new" house on Craig Road on your preceding post far uglier.... and have you seen the houses in Richmond Chase? :-)

ReplyDeleteWell thank you for not thinking our home is the “ugliest in the area” anymore, it certainly is a relief! I stumbled across your posts when we were researching whether or not to buy the house and found your comments amusing albeit a little rude! However it was hard to disagree with your points entirely. We bought the house as you might have guessed for the proximity to the park, the size, the view and the bus links to the station etc. We tried to improve and “soften” the look the best we could and are still trying so thank you for noticing!
