Moths Count

I was not able to get to the Moths Count at Ham House but it sounds like fun!

Retro

The cyclists on the Bikeathon were well catered for at the Ham Common checkpoint where in addition to the mountains of bottled water they could also get champagne and Pimms from this great retro-look bar.

Start here

There is nothing quite like a large inflatable pink arch to indicate the start of a sponsored cycle ride.

Stalls

Ham Fair seemed to be busier than ever this year and there were a large number of stall spromoting the work of local organisations or selling bric-a-brac, cakes, plants, jewellery, books, CDs, etc.

Getting ready for Ham Fair

This was the scene earlier today with the stall holders getting ready for Ham Fair.

Bouncy Castle at Ham Fair

This is one of the "attractions" at the Ham Fair (2007). The Fair tries to cater for all ages and part of this is a collection of bouncy and slidy plastic things that is normally placed near to the main avenue of trees. I find them to be incredibly gaudy but I suspect that the smaller children like them.

Ham Open Gardens 27 May

I saw this poster for Ham Open Gardens in the delicatessen this morning so it's lucky that I always have my camera with me. The brown around the edge is the delicatessen's floor!
