All the fun of the fair

This weekend, 25/26 April 2015, the Victorian Fair makes its annual visit to Ham Common. This is a small fair for small children but the rest of us can enjoyed its exuberance and its colour.

The Victorian Fair cavorted on to Ham Common recently with it's familiar cavalcade of colours and raucous tunes that summoned small children with an ease that would have impressed the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

The Victorian Fair has made its annual return to Ham Common with the familiar carousel of brightly coloured, but somewhat scary, horses.

A fair is not a proper fair without a carousel and this one is traditional, colourful and joyous.

The Victorian Fair was brought to Ham Common by grand vehicles like this Dinky toy look-alike.

Big Wheel

The Victorian Fair starts tomorrow (Saturday 19 April) so today was an opportunity to take some photos of the delightful machines without the clutter of children to mess things up.
