This is another one of those photos that I thought I had posted years ago only to find that I had only posted one of the gate. Anyway, this is Wilmer House and it sits in the quiet bit of Church Road that runs between Latchmere Lane and Ham Gate Avenue. One of our local celebrities lives here.
My parents lived in the old chauffeurs flat at Wilmer house in the late 1950s and I was born at Kingston hospital in 1957 and then lived at the flat with my parents for a few years before they moved. My uncle and Aunt and cousin lived in the flat for a while before my parents lived there. I have a beautiful drawing of the house which I was given. Isabel Stanley
