There are lots of very good reasons to be angry with Thames Water at the moment so it is good to see them do something useful. Ham Gate is closed to cars, but not bikes or pedestrians, because Thames Water have dug up the road at the start of the slope just inside the park.
Walking through the park is decidedly more pleasant with no traffic on that section of road. Sadly it is expected to open again soon.
