I have been waiting for the exterior work to start on the restoration of The Hand and Flower and finally some scaffolding has been put up. It looks like the main work is being done on the chimney but the extent of the scaffolding also suggests other work on the first floor, which is much needed as a closer look at the wall to the bottom-left corner of the middle window shows.
