I find the cluster of roads (Lauderdale Drive, Ashley Gardens and Arlington Road) in the corner of Petersham Road and Sandy Lane to be boring and uninspiring. And to make things worse there are no roads or paths that go through the area, you can only go round it and back out again, so it is not part of any natural walks that you might take.
The sole gem in this area is this uncharacteristic house in Arlington Road that looks as though it belongs somewhere in northern Europe rather than in an estate of all-the-same 1930s houses.
