Elm Walk

I do not normally cover Richmond Park here as I see it as a place in its own right, it touches both Ham and Petersham but is in neither, and I am making an exception here as the new Elm Walk starts the journey from Petersham Gate to Ham Gate. And I like trees.

  1. Hello Lesley again! When I was a little child I often went to the Sand Pit at Petersham Gate in Richmond Park with my parents. This would have been in the early 1960s. I still have some photos of me at the Sand Pit as a little child and I often walked along Richmond Park gardens and this hill in your photo. It is lovely. I hope everyone is well. I am in Bournemouth now. Best wishes Lesley.
