The conservatory was a prominent feature of St Michaels Convent and while I was never able to go into it I appreciated it from outside many times. It is good to see that it is being retained as part of Orford Place where, I believe, it will be part of Unit 17.
Hello, it is Lesley again from Bournemouth and the Nuns at St Michael's Convent used to come to St Andrew's Primary School at Ham Common on certain occasions. I seem to remember the Nuns. I think the Convent closed down a few years ago. Best wishes Lesley. There was snow on the ground here in Bournemouth this morning - oh dear!
